Alberta Ballet School has studios in Calgary and Edmonton.
Our Calgary studio is located in downtown Calgary consisting of six large studios, and six academic classrooms spread over 30,000 square feet in the same building. The Calgary location also includes a full costume department, on-site physiotherapy room, student change rooms with lockers, a lobby area, a retail store for dance apparel and supplies, administration offices, a welcoming reception and outdoor annex. The school is a 24-hour secured facility with access only granted to students and parents, faculty and approved guest. Alberta Ballet School also offers a Residence Program for non-local professional students. Our Residence is located on Mount Royal University campus, only 15 minutes from the school. In Edmonton, our school is located in the Ruth Carse Centre for Dance, aptly named for one of Alberta Ballet’s founders Ruth Carse. This purpose built building houses many recreational and professional dance companies in Edmonton, providing immense inspiration to our students. The Ruth Carse Centre for Dance offers our families large dance studios for all classes, full change rooms, free parking, and a parent/student lounge in the front lobby. Alberta Ballet School in Edmonton offers programming six days a week.
